Tired of having to “check-in” locations to update your status? Tired of not knowing which of your friends are going out? My Crowd consists of a main interface with a scrolling list of your friends that enables you to see who is going out and who is staying in for that particular night. At any point during the day, you may click on either the “in” or “out” button which lets all of your crowd members know if you’re going out or not. If you wish to have the GPS track you, your status will automatically update where you are for participating locations. Even if you don’t hang out at a participating venue, you status will still say “out” during your desired times.

In your GPS/Start Time settings you may choose whether you want the GPS to track you or not. If you do not want it to track, slide it to the off position. From here you can still pick which time you want your status to switch from “going out” to “out.” When your end-time comes around, your status will switch from “out” or “current location” to “goodnight.”
Next to each My Crowd members name is a button that automatically directs you to a text message being sent to that person.

Inviting friends is a quick and easy process after you click “Add Friends” on the home screen. You may add as many of your friends at one time from your contact list. Friend requests will show up in your requests box that can be found at the bottom of the home screen. If you invite a friend that doesn’t have the application yet, a text message will be sent to that person with a link to quickly download the app.

You can select days that you want your status to automatically be “Going-out”, which are usually days like Friday and Saturday. There is an option to pick days that you want the application to ask you if you are going out that night. These are all handy options to make this application as automated and work-free as possible. If you ever feel the need, you will also be able to delete a friend from you crowd whenever you want. Please Enjoy!
